JODEL.AIR v1.0 by David Lewis

A Jodel D140C Mousquetaire III for Flight Sim 5.1,
FLIGHT SHOP NOT REQUIRED.
This aircraft has been designed and tested on FS5.1 but I see no
reason why it should not work for FS5.0a.
I built this aircraft as a test for my new tools to allow aircraft
appearance to be modified WITHOUT FLIGHT SHOP.
Many thanks to Maurizio Gavioli for his excellent documentation
of FS5 file structures, and for showing me the way. Thanks also to
my wife, Paula, who has hardly seen me for three weeks while I built
this thing!

Installation
------------
1. Copy Jodel.AIR to your flightsim \SIM directory
2. Copy Jodel.R8 to your flightsim \TEXTURE directory
3. Edit the file \PANELS\PANELSET.FS5
- wherever you find SOPW_* (e.g. SOPW_S), replace it with CESN_*
This will give you a more useful instrument panel for flying this
aircraft.

- fixed the instability in roll - the new version is not
so twitchy as the original.
Face it, that big, bent wing is not going to flop about!
- improved some occasional bleed-through along the rear
fuselage.
Known bugs
----------
1) The revs don't read high enough.
Full power should show 2,700 rpm.
2) Parts of the rear fuselage occasionally disappear when viewed
from below the tail.
3) The flaps have the same range of positions as a Cessna.
The Jodel actually only has 3 flap positions: none, 'take-off' and
'landing'.
If anyone decodes that part of the .AIR file, please let me know !
In the mean time, try not to use the interim positions...
4) This model is somewhat more aerobatic than the real thing.
When I find the G-limits I'll correct them, meanwhile try to avoid
high-G manoeuvres.

Prop: McCauley IA 200 FA 80-56 fixed-pitch metal prop.
On a personal note, I've found that the reduced weight and slow
approach make crosswinds rather more significant than in the Cessna.
The FS5.1 random weather tends to have still air below 150', and
for the first time I've really felt the wind drop off and catch me
out on an approach.
